This is done through a multi-tiered system with three different levels of support. Within each tier are targeted interventions and support strategies that are proven to improve students’ academic performance. How Should the Three Intervention Tiers (IT) of the RtI Model Be Implemented? Each intervention tier (IT) of the RtI model defines the level and intensity of services required for a student to progress.
